Helping people live better with cancer

If you have cancer, you need Wellspring NB.

Live better with cancer

If you have cancer, you need Wellspring NB.

Wellspring NB provides vital non-medical cancer support programs to people living with cancer and their caregivers in New Brunswick. These programs focus on the person, not the disease and are at no charge, and open to anyone at any stage of their cancer journey.

In late 2025, we celebrated the opening of Bannon House, which is a home near The Moncton Hospital that was generously gifted to the Foundation. Thanks to our incredible donors, we raised $1.1 Million to renovate the home into a resource hub for Wellspring NB and its members. Aptly named Bannon House in honour of its benefactor, this space has been transformed into a unique hub for cancer patients to gather, connect with peers, find strength and attend programs that foster wellness.

Some of the programs that our members can access include:

Yoga

Nourish

Exercise

Relaxation & Visualization

Brain Fog

Cancer Connect

Peer Support

Art Therapy

All programs are offered at no charge and without referral to participants and their caregivers.

Programs will be determined by the Program Advisory Committee made up of oncologists, nurses, foundation staff and people with lived experience, from both Horizon and Vitalité Health Networks.
