Josie Marks

I am very pleased to serve on the Board of Directors of the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation. Over the past decade, I have been involved in a number of not-for-profit and charitable organizations in the greater Moncton area as founder, Board Member, Director and volunteer. A particular focus of my prior experience relates to the attraction and retention of skilled newcomers to our region, which is of critical importance to the growth and sustainability of many sectors, including health care.

Born and raised in Southeastern New Brunswick, I obtained degrees at Mount Allison University, the University of Oxford and McGill University prior to returning to greater Moncton in 2009 to practice law and to raise my family. I am currently a partner at the law firm of Stewart McKelvey.

I look forward to contributing to the work of the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation in supporting the delivery of exceptional health care in our community.
