Phyllis Bannister

As a Co-Founder and CFO for Extreme Window and Entrance Systems Inc. for the past 23 years, I have been very involved in the Moncton community as a dynamic business leader and passionate community advocate. I have over 25 years of leadership experience in manufacturing and construction sectors, driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and sustainable innovation.

My foundation in business and finance stems from my early career in sales and operations, supported by continuing education in business development, finance, and leadership.

I am committed to our greater communities and have been a long-time supporter of the YMCA of Greater Moncton, where I have led transformative fundraising initiatives. Alongside our team at Extreme, I lead our Annual Customer Appreciation & Charity Golf Tournament, which has raised over $270,000 for local foundations. I have volunteered across multiple organizations including: The YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, BGC Moncton, The Humanity Project, Skate Canada, Minor Hockey and local schools, always with a focus on empowering youth and strengthening families.

I am a councilor in my municipality and sit on the Board for a Provincial Nursing Home.

Above all, family is number one for me. I am a proud mother of four, a mother-in-law and nana. I am lucky that I have been able to work alongside my husband and best friend for over 27 years.

I first became involved with the Friends of the Moncton Hospital in September 2024, with them being the named Beneficiary of our Annual Extreme Golf Charity event. When the opportunity arose to be a part of the Friends, I was excited to jump on board!

I look forward to contributing to the work of the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation in supporting the delivery of exceptional health care in our community.
