Giving Changes Care

Hundreds of people in our community have a connection with The Moncton Hospital. Some are patients, some are family members, some are medical professionals. But every one of them has a story.

We are delighted that the third 3D Diagnostic Unit, located in Medical Imaging, has been in operation since March 17, 2025.
The goal of the study is to establish a robust marker that can predict long-term spinal cord stimulation treatment response.
Work is steadily advancing on the new $56 million Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital.
Our very first donation dates back to 1965, when it was generously made by The Moncton Hospital Nurses’ Auxiliary.

Our Annual General Meeting was held Wednesday, June 25th, where we had a chance to celebrate the many accomplishments of this past year.
The Annual General Meeting of the members of the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation Inc. will be held on Wednesday, June 25th at 3:00PM at the Brix Experience, 245 St. George Street, Moncton.
Three boats from TRHS participated in the recent Greater Moncton Dragon Boat Festival in support of the Friends Foundation.

At this year’s Tea and Talk, an event held every year to celebrate our Gifts for Life Society Members, there were two new members recognized.
Our lobby is getting a much-needed facelift.  
On April 11th, we gave donors an exclusive sneak peek of the NEW Jean Elizabeth Saunders Irving Obstetrics and Newborn Care Unit.
We are delighted to announce that the state-of-the art Obstetrics and Newborn Care Unit will open on May 14th, 2025.
The Friends Foundation is raising $1Million for a dedicated haven where complimentary non-medical services and support programs will be offered to help people live better with cancer.
Earlier this year, thanks to our donors, we were able to purchase $250,000 Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) technology for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
The Moncton Hospital is the first facility in Atlantic Canada and the sixth in Canada to acquire donor funded advanced technology for treating patients suffering from ongoing pain due to fibroids.
Donor-Funded Oncology Sunroom and Garden Provides Relaxation and Hope-Inspiring Spaces for Cancer Patients
FMH Management’s 2024 gift of $500,000 elevated them to the Philanthropist Level of giving which is over the $5 million dollar mark!
Construction is progressing well on a new $56 million Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at The Moncton Hospital, which will enhance cardiac care delivery for patients across the region.
